Since 1973, we have been a nationwide, member-based, grassroots organization of Unitarian Universalists.

We are people who recognize that oppression hurts everyone, regardless of its form.

We are LGBTQ UUs. We are UU allies.

What We Do

We work to end oppression based on sexual orientation and gender identity, and through that work, we seek an end to all oppression.

We strive to be a nationwide source of resources, advocacy, and activism.

We strive to be a community for all.

All LGBTQ people and allies are welcome to join us for Sunday service at any of our congregations or events. We are the original "Welcoming Congregation" and welcome the presence of all queer people and allies among us.

Many people who seek to marry will often work with one of our open and affirming ministers. We stand for equality and helping seekers to find a spiritual home and community. We believe in building bridges and breaking down oppressions.
